We will be staging regular events at different wholesale customers. These will be Tasting Events, Food & Wine Pairing Dinners, Meet the Winemaker Dinners.
They will all be hosted by us in conjunction with our loyal restaurant, pub and bar customers.
Tickets will be available to the public to purchase through us in advance and also available to potential wine buyers from other hospitality venues.

Champagne Paques 1er Cru Tasting

The Paques family history begins in 1905. Achille PAQUES, originally from the Champagne vineyards, but not from a winegrowing family, married Aurore PREVOT, daughter of several generations of winegrowers in Chigny-les-Roses. He married Aurore and took up the profession of winegrower.
He was one of the first winegrowers in the village to own his own press. He also pressed many grapes for the other winegrowers in the village.
Achille returned unharmed from Verdun. He then had three sons, including Georges, who took over the business and settled in Rilly la Montagne, the neighbouring village, after his marriage. He built new cellars and a vat room.
Then came Gérard and Nicole PAQUES, in 1959, who consolidated the business through numerous vineyard purchases, but also through their work, and a serious start to marketing Champagne Paques et fils.
Since 1996, Philippe and Lam PAQUES have managed the family business. The estate expanded from 8 hectares to 12.5 hectares, leading to an increase in marketing.
Philippe always has a thought for his ancestors, for their work, and also plans for the future, so that this beautiful family history continues.
We are delighted to have Baptiste Paques himself from Champagne Paques joining us for a few days and he will de delivering a fantastic tasting guiding us few a number of the amazing wines they have within their portfolio.
Light, small nibbles will be served along with the tasters.
